Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve an engine in the output performance and the fuel consumption rate, by retaining the injection timing, in a region where the rotational speed of the engine has attained in a prescribed value or more, at a particular injection timing at an advance angle smaller than the maximum advance angle. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection pump 2 is attached to the side of the engine 1, and is cooperated with an oil pressure timer 4. Output signals of a rotation sensor 12, a load sensor 13 and an injection timing sensor 15 are inputted into a controller 6 that commands and controls the oil pressure timer 4. When the rotational speed N of the engine 1 is at a prescribed value N1 or below, by feedback control the injection timing is controlled in an optimum manner in accordance wit the conditions of the operation of the engine. On the other hand, when the rotational speed N is above the prescribed value N1, the fuel is injected at a particular time at an advance angle smaller than the maximum advance angle irrespective of the condition of the operation of the engine. Thus, the output performance and the fuel consumption rate of the engine can be improved.
