Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform smooth changeover from control based on a voltage to control based on slip frequency, by providing such a voltage control loop that the characteristic of a slip frequency control amplifier changes depending on the fluctuation in the voltage of power. CONSTITUTION:The output of a torque setting unit 1 is converted into a current instruction and a slip frequency instruction by converters 2, 9. The current instruction and the output of a current detection circuit 3 are conducted through a subtracter 4 and an amplifier 5 of a current control loop. The outputs of the amplifier 5 and a voltage detector 6 are conducted through a subtracter 7 and an amplifier 8 of a voltage control loop. The output of a slip frequency control amplifier 10 is added to the slip frequency intruction by an adder 11. The voltage and frequency of an inverter 16 are thus controlled. Since the characteristics of the slip frequency control amplifier 10 changes depending on the fluctuation in the voltage of power, the running characteristic of an electric vehicle is optimized.
