Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to regenerate an adsorbent in efficiency samd to that during constant flow amount operation even if a flow amount is throttled by a method wherein a load cell detecting an adsorbed moisture amount of the adsorbent is provided and the change-over control of an adsorbing cylinder is carried out by the detected signal.
CONSTITUTION: After a high temp. and high humidity gas from a blower 1 is cooled and dehumidified in a heat exchanger 2, a cooler 3 and a freezing type air dryer 4, said gas is sent to an adsorbing cyliner 7a from a change-over valve 6 to be further dehumidified therein and supplied to an ozone generator 11 as dry air. A part thereof is introduced into the heat exchanger 2 and a heater 12 through a change-over valve 15 to be heated to high temp. and used in regenerating an adsorbent 8b of the adsorbing cylinder 7b. The temp. of the heater 12 is controlled by temp. sensors 13b, 14b and, when a final detachment heating temp. of the adsorbent is detected, the heater 12 is offed and the change-over valve 15 is changed over to bypass the air after dehumidification from the heat exchanger 12 and introduced into the adsorbing cylinder 7b to carry out a cooling process. When an adsorbed moisture amount is reached to a predetermined value, the change-over valve 6 is changed over by the order of the load cell 16 to transfer the adsorbing cylinders 7b, 7a to an adsorbing process and a regenerating process respectively.
