Abstract

PURPOSE: To shorten the necessary time for closing an orifice and reduce the peak pressure by constituting a pressure control valve in such a way that the orifice which communicates to a supply port and a backpressure chamber is closed during shift of a piston poppet.
CONSTITUTION: A pressure control valve is constituted in such a way that the opening on the periphery of the orifice 24 which communicates to a supply port 1 and a backpressure chamber 11 is closed during a piston poppet 7 shifts. When the pressure on the supply port 1 side reaches a set value, a pilot poppet 13 shifts a little to the left side in the figure, and the pressure in the backpressure chamber 11 begins to decrease. Accordingly, also the piston poppet 7 retreats, and during this time, the opening of the orifice is closed, and communication of the backpressure chamber 11 to the supply port 1 is cut off. As a result of this, the oil pressure in the backpressure chamber 11 lowers sharply, and a differential pressure is formed between the supply port 1 and the backpressure chamber, so a relief poppet 4 is shifted, pressed to the backpressure chamber 11 side. Accordingly, the through-holes 6a and 6b of a check poppet 3 are allowed to communicate, and the oil pressure in the supply port 1 is released to a relief port 2, and the pressure lowers to a set value.
