PURPOSE:To prevent the opening of molds during the vulcanization period as well as simplify the structure of the molds by providing a tube fitted into a guide cylinder on the fixing side of the molds for vulcanizing tires and also an elevating part inserted in a vertically movable manner in the tube. CONSTITUTION:A green tire 1 is set on a lower clamp ring hub provided to a tube 23 inserted into a guide cylinder 19 on the fixed side and a lower mold 4. Then, a piston rod 12 is lowered by the piston rod 11 of an elevating part and an upper clamp ring hub 8 is brought down. The upper molds 3 and the lower mold 4 are clamped together and vulcanization for tire is made. In this case, since the piston rod 12 is pressed downwards all the time, the power to open the upper mold 3 is diminished.
