Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate smooth and close reeling operation and reduce total width of coil by providing a taper cut from a wire fixing notch circumferencially along the inner surface of flange of the pulley; initial minimum turns required for smooth reeling is also reduced to less than one turn. CONSTITUTION:The pulley has two flanges 3a, 3b at its axial ends. Wire, W1, W2, has its end fixed to the side face of pulley through a notch 7a, 7b cut to the flange 3a or 3b. Tapers 8a, 8b are cut along the inner surfaces of flanges 3a, 3b of the pulley 3, tapered so that the thickness of flanges 3a, 3b is gradually reduced toward the notchs 7a, 7b. When wire W2 is reeled on the pulley 3 and the first turn reaches the notch 7b, wire W2 will be reeled on along the flange 3b, so that the wire W2 will not ride on the wire of previous turn.
