CONSTITUTION:When a contactor 15 is closed before the voltage of a generator 1 is established, the DC power source of a private storage battery 10 is supplied to an automatic voltage regulator 5 via a DC/AC converter 12. In this manner, the regulator 5 can perform the unit test of the regulator 5 even if the voltage of the generator 1 is not established and hence even if the voltage of a power transformer 4 for the regulator 5 is not established.
