Abstract

PURPOSE:To fade out a recording signal automatically, with an attenuation circuit controlled with an electronic timer set at the start of recording. CONSTITUTION:Before the start of recording, the operator selects one of timer set switches 8 depending on the length of a magnetic tape. When a start switch 10 is closed, an electronic timer 7 starts and the counting is started. An output of a tuner 3 is recorded on a tape 6 via a recording circuit 4 not subjected to attenuation with an attenuation circuit 16. When a magnetic tape comes to an end, an output signal is generated from the timer 7, an LED13 illuminates and the attenuation circuit 16 starts the operation. Thus, the recorded input signal is faded out.
