PURPOSE:To prevent the AFC state at picture recording from being switched erroneously, by holding the operative or inoperative state of the AFC circuit of a channel selection circuit for picture recorder till the end of recording, by the picture recording operation. CONSTITUTION:Normally, the operation of AFC circuits 5, 6 of a channel selection circuit 1 for television picture receiver and of a channel selection circuit 2 for picture recorder is switched interlockingly through the changeover of a switch 15 or 16. Next, in a picture recorder, when a picture recording control circuit 20 or a picture recording timer circuit 21 is operated, a low level signal is applid to a status holding circuit 17, which holds the AFC operation setting input from the switches 15, 16 right before the same, as it is. Thus, thereafter, the operative or inoperative state of the AFC6 can be held, independently of the changeover of the switches 15, 16 till the end of picture recording.
