Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve charge-discharge performance by using a non-aqueous electrolyte obtained by dissolving LiClO4 and other ion-dissociating lithium salts into a specified solvent in a secondary battery having lithium as a negative active material. CONSTITUTION:A secondary battery is formed by using lithium as a negative active material and a non-aqueous electrolyte. LiClO4 and other ion-dissociating salts acting as a solute are dissolved into propylene carbonate or a mixed solvent of propylen carbonate with tetrahydrofuran to form the non-aqueous electrolyte. LiBF4, LiPF6, LiAlCl4 etc. shall be used as ion-dissociating salts other than LiClO4.
