In case where the hot water is no more required after use, a water supply valve 11 in the solar heat collector is closed, a water supply valve 12 in the heat exchanger is opened, the city water is supplied into, and preheatd by the heat exchanger 6 provided in the hot water in the bathtub and the preheated water is stored in the temperature retaining hot water storage tank 7 through a water supply pipe 4. In addition, in the event no hot water is present in the bathtub 1, the supply of water to the solar heat collector is made in such a manner that the water supply valve 11 is opened and the water supply valves 12 and 14 are closed in the usual manner.
