Abstract

PURPOSE:To put a speaker in invariably normal operation and to evade the damage of the speaker by supplying an input audio signal to a voice coil part only when the temperature of the voice coil part under temperature control is within a set temperature range. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of the voice coil part of a speaker 1 under the temperature control of temperature control parts 9 which absorb or generate heat is detected by a temperature detecting element 12 to generate a voltage output which corresponds to the temperature. This output voltage is compared by a comparing circuit 24 with a reference voltage VV, and its output is supplied to a level and polarity control circuit 22 to adjust a DC output from an integral network 21. The output voltage of the element 12 is compared with reference voltages VL and VH by comparing circuit 26 and 27 respectiely, whose comparison outputs when both 1s are supplied via an AND circuit 30 to a switch control circuit 31, thereby turning on a switch 18 by a control signal generated by the circuit 31. Consequently, an input audio signal is supplied to the voice coil part of the speaker 1 through an output amplifying circuit.
