PURPOSE:To make the adjustment of white balance of picture easy, by changing the time division ratio radiated on each fluorescent body of electron beam, in a horizontal deflection circuit. CONSTITUTION:In adjusting white balance, variable resistors 41r, 41g, 41b are adjusted and pulse width ratio of pulses r', g', b' for switching at a switching pulse generating circuit 36 is adjusted, allowing to trigger monostable multivibrators 40r, 40g, 40b, and pulses r', g', b' for video signal switching are outputted and applied to switching circuts 36a-36n. Thus, the video signals for fluorescent substances R, G, B are applied to the control electrode of display elements to adjust the time ratio of the fluorescent substance where electron beams are passed, allowing to adjust the ratio of illumination of each fluoresent substance.
