Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to obtain high heat exchange efficiency in the heat exchanging device by a method wherein vortex generating elements are provided at the inlet parts of respective primary and secondary flow passages in order to improve the heat transfer between air and heat exchanging plate due to the generation of turbulent flow. CONSTITUTION:The indoor air is exhausted outdoors through the primary air flow passage 3 and the outdoor air is taken in indoors through the secondary air flow passage 4. At this time the indoor and outdoor airs are heat-exchanged with each other through heat exchanging plates 1. Because, at the influx of air into the respective passages 3 and 4, the air is met with wire gauzes 5 and 5 on this side of the respective inlet parts 3a and 4a and disturbed its flow by gauze wires 5a and 5a in passing through the wire gauzes 5 and 5 in such a manner as to generate vortices, the heat transfer between the air and the heat exchanging plate 1 is improved due to the generation of turbulent flow and the high heat exchanging efficiency is resulted.
