Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency in grilling by a construction wherein heated air above the food being cooked is circulated to a space below the food by a crossflow fan, in a heating cooker provided with a heater for heating the food to be cooked in a heating cooker provided with a heater for heating the food to be cooked in a heating chamber. CONSTITUTION:Air in the heating chamber 2 is heated by the heater 3 and the upper part of the food 6 to be cooked is heated by the radiant heat l from the heater 3. In addition, the air in the chamber 2 is sucked by the crossflow fan 9 through a suction port 10 provided in a partition plate 7 for the chamber 2, and the air is blown off as hot air L3 through a blow-off port 11 to the space below the food 6 so that the food 6 is cooked by heating from the lower side thereof. Accordingly, the hot air L3 is circulated orderly as indicated by a B C D and water in a pan 4 is little heated, resulting in that the generation of steam can be reduced and hence staming can be prevented. Thus, the efficiency in grilling can be enhanced.
