Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formulaI(R2 is ≤7C acyl group).
EXAMPLE: 2,3-Di-O-propionyl-D-ribofuranose 1,5-diphosphate.
USE: A hypoglycemic. A promotor for feeding oxygen to peripheral tissue.
PROCESS: For example, a 2,3-di-O-acyl-D-ribofuranose 1,5-diphosphate derivative shown by the formula II (R1 is a protecting group removal under catalystic hydrogen reduction, such as lower alkyl, substituted phenyl, benzyl, etc.) is subjected to catalystic hydrogen reduction in the presence of a solvent such as ethyl acetate, etc. using a novel catalyst such as platinum, palladium, etc. at about -10W+50°C, to give a compound shown by the formulaI.
