Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the size and prevent the reduction of detection accuracy due to changes in temperature by a device wherein output from the secondary winding is detected in a positive or negative level synchronously with AC power supplied to the primary winding of a differential transformer. CONSTITUTION:An AC power supply source 2 is connected to a primary winding 1A of a differential transformer 1, and bilateral switches 13, 15 are connected to a secondary winding 1B thereof, respectively. The other terminal of the bilateral switch 13 is connected to a low pass filter 4 and the other terminal of the switch 15 is grounded. Bilateral switches 14, 16 are connected to another secondary winding 1C of the differential transformer 1, respectively. The other terminal of the bilateral switch 14 is connected to the low pass filter 4 and the other terminal of the switch 16 is grounded. Output terminals of the AC power supply source 2 are connected to positive and negative input terminals of a comparator 11, respectively, and an output signal from the comparator 11 is in turn input to the bilateral switches 13, 16. A detection circuit 10 comprises the comparator 11, an inverter 12 and the bilateral switches 13, 14, 15 and 16.
