Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform channel control efficiently by detecting a change in input signal, by sending a request for processing to a microprogram controlling part, and by advancing the processing while referring to the advance state of an I/O interface by a responding microprogram. CONSTITUTION:Plural channel units CH610 are provided, and a microprogram controlling part MC600 controls the execution of microinstructions of an arithmethic processor BPU601. An input signal register 611 inputs a signal from an I/O interface and an output signal register 612 sets a signal to be sent out to the I/O interface. For this purpose, signals inputted to the register 611 are monitored by rise and fall detecting circuits 618 and 617 to detect their changes, thereby sending a request for processing to the MC600. The execution of a microprogram responding to this request is advanced by referring to the contents of a buffer register 616 which shows the advance state of the I/O interface, thus setting a signal to a register 612.
