Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent degradation owing to UV rays in an electrophotographic receptor having an electric charge generating material and an org. electric charge transfer material on a conductive substrate, by contg. UV absorbing compounds in the uppermost layer. CONSTITUTION:In an electrophotograhic receptor having an electric charge generating material (e.g.; selenium, selenium-tellurium alloy, etc.) and an org. electric charge transfer material (e.g.; triphenyl amine, N, N, N', N'-tetrabenzyl-p- phenylene diamine, etc.) on a conductive substrate (e.g.; a polyester film vapor deposited with aluminum, etc.), >=1 kind of UV absorbing compounds (e.g.; resorcinol compounds, benzooxazole compounds, benzophenone compounds, etc.) are contained in the uppermost layer. The electrophotographic receptor preventing degradation owing to UV rays is obtained.
