Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent an abnormal internal stress which is caused to an optical fiber, by setting an optical fiber cable or an optical fiber into a sheath having a gap with undulation. CONSTITUTION:A glass fiber filament 3 is put into a plastic sheath 2 supported by a messenger wire 1 with a gap and undulation. Thus an abnormal internal stress of an optical fiber which is caused by the sexpansion and contraction of a tension wire or the wire 1 due to a change of temperature can be prevented.
