Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a dry distillation gas effectively using an organic waste such as rice hulls, sawdust, etc. by a simple constitution, by controlling automatically the amount of feed air depending on the temperature in a dry distillation furnace, constituting the operation process in such a way that half-combustion state and dry distillation state are repeated.
CONSTITUTION: An organic waste fed to the dry distillation furnace 1 is ignited by the burner 11, and the operation is started. The motor M1 of the screw conveyor 14 and the motor M3 of the air compressor AC are started, so that the organic waste and air for combustion are fed to the furnace 1. With the operation of the air feed means 3, the valve SV4 of the discharge means 5 is opened, waste gas of combustion is exhausted, and a combustion state is maintained. When the temperature in the furnace 1 is reached to the upper limit, the sensor 23 for the upper limit temperature detects it, a relay supports itself, simultaneously the valve SV5 of the collecting means 6 is opened, and a dry distillation gas is stored through the cyclone 18 in the gas holder 19. When the temperature in the furnace 1 is reached to the lower limit by the interruption of combustion, the amount of air is increased by the sensor 24 for lower limit temperature, and half combustion state is maintained. Hereinafter these operations are repeated.
