The pilot signal 30 (19kHz) contained in the reproduced signal is detected to be compared with the reference signal 32 produced by a reference oscillator 31. Then the error of compensation is corrected to form a servo system that performs a capstan control from the pilot signal in the reproduced signal. In such way, the accuracy can be increased for the time of reproduction, and at the same time the uneven rotation can be reduced.
