Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the accuracy of the reproduced performance time, by performing a magnetic tape recording with the stereophonic composite signal. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic recording tape is reproduced, the minute reproduction signals generated through a reproduction head 20 are amplified by an amplifier 27 to a proper level and then demodulated to the independent aural signals of L and R channels by a stereophonic demodulator 29. The pilot signal 30 (19kHz) contained in the reproduced signal is detected to be compared with the reference signal 32 produced by a reference oscillator 31. Then the error of compensation is corrected to form a servo system that performs a capstan control from the pilot signal in the reproduced signal. In such way, the accuracy can be increased for the time of reproduction, and at the same time the uneven rotation can be reduced.
