Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate hardness to see a reproduced picture by making its noise band steady by comparing the phase of a noise signal in a reproduced via signal with that of a head change-over signal and by controlling the run of a tape according to the phase error. CONSTITUTION:Video signals detected by video heads (a) and (b) are applied to FM demodulator 32 by way of rotary transformers 25 and 26, amplifiers 27 and 28, switch 29, amplifier 30, and limiter 31 and then demodulated there. Peak detecting circuit 32 detects a noise signal in the video signal and the noise is frequency- divided by frequency divided 34 and then inputted to phase comparator 35, which detects the phase difference from a head change-over signal. This phase difference output is supplied to reel driving motor 11 via adder 19 to control the run speed of tape 1.
