Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce a resistance to a hull and to make the construction of a boat easier by eliminating a chine line of a small dragnet boat at the front of the boat which penetrating the water surface near the front of the hull to make the form to a smooth curve face. CONSTITUTION:A nearly front chine 3', which penetrates the water surface, of a hull of a small dragnet boat having a chine line 3 is transformed to the shape of a bilge circle 10 of a smooth curve 5. Because the part which is subjected to a resistance of water most beavily is made in the form of the curve which is subjected to the less resistance, the resultant hull shape is suitable for boat speeds of a displacement type such as the small dragnet boat and because the most part of the chine remains unchanged, the hull shape is suited to attain superior workability.
