CONSTITUTION:Effective components are regulated to 45-25mol% MgO, 45- 25mol% Cr2O3, 10-50mol% SiO2 and/or TiO2. When the content of SiO2 or TiO2 is larger than this value, measurement is difficult because of too high resistance of detection element. Whereas the detective ability for gas becomes insufficient, when the content is smaller than this value. Contents of MgO and Cr2O3 are desirable to regulate to equimolar %. Sometimes constituents are formed as reaction products such as complex oxides. In this case, the range of components is expressed in terms of the above-mentioned oxide form.
