Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the distribution of blast furnace charging materials adequately at the furnace top by providing a sliding chute swivelably to the leading end of a swiveling chute. CONSTITUTION:A swiveling chute 7 is swiveled by the driving force of a motor 1 for swiveling, and the chute 7 is tilted by the driving force of a motor 2 for tilting. A mechanism of sliding a sliding chute 9 is provided to this mechanism. More specifically, the revolutions of the motor 3 are transmitted to a gear 3-(g) coaxial to a vertical chute 12 by means of a worm gear 3-(a), gears 3-(b), 3-(c), 3-(d), and a gear 3-(f) coaxial to the revolution of the gear 3-(d). Further, they are transmitted from the gear 3-(h) coaxial and integral to and with the gear 3-(g) to a shaft 3-(l) by means of a gear 3-(i), a worm gear 3-(j), and a gear 3-(k), by which a crank 4 integral with the shaft 3-(l) is titled, and the sliding chute 9 mounted to the chute 7 by means of a rail 10 is slided by a link 5 having a fixed point 6 at the chute 7 and a fixed point 8 at the chute 9.
