Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent cavitation of a circulating pump by arranging a cooling device in the midway of a pipeline leading a high-temperature fluid after heat- exchange to a heater.
CONSTITUTION: A cooler 8 is provided between pipelines 25 and 26 which lead a high-temperature fluid 2b after the heat-exchange with a low-temperature fluid 3 within a direct heat-exchanger 1 to a high-temperature fluid heater 11, and a pipeline 2 for the low-temperature fluid 3 is passed through a cooler 8 to cool the same. The high-temperature fluid 2b after the heat exchange is sufficiently cooled by the cooler 8 and led to the circulating pump 9 through the pipeline 26. by this procedure, the cavitation of the circulating pump can be prevented, and the circulating force of the high-temperature fluid 2b can be enhanced and the operation can be smoothly performed.
