Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the driving resistance of a steel sheet pile as well as to assist the steel sheet pile by injecting pressure water through an injection pipe provided with a head having inclined lower side, attached to one side of the web of the steel sheet pile.
CONSTITUTION: A head 4 having inclined lower side is formed at the lower end of an injection pipe 2 whose lower end has a charging port 3. And, the injection pipe 2 is attached to one side of the web 1b of a steel sheet pile 1 in such a way that the inclined lower side 4a of the head 4 is turned toward the projecting side of the flange 1a of the steel sheet pile 1 in the longitudinal direction of the steel sheet pile 1. When driving the sheet pile 1 underground, the inclined lower side 4a of the head 4 at the lower end of the injection pipe 2 serves to suppress the advancement of the lower end of the sheet pile 1 toward the web side.
