Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A 1,4-disubstituted piperazine derivative shown by the formulaI[R1 is heterocyclic group; R2 and R3 are H, halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy(R2=R3=H is omitted); n is 2, 3 or 4]and its acid addition salt.
EXAMPLE: 1-[3-(3-Pyridine)propyl]-4-p-toluylipiperazine 2 hydrochloride.
USE: An anodyne.
PROCESS: A novel 1,4-disubstituted piperazine shown by the formula II is reacted with a carboxylic acid derivative shown by the formula III in a solvent such as benzene in the presence of a dehydrating agent such as triethylamine, etc., to give a compound shown by the formulaI. The compound shown by the formula II is obtained by reacting a chloride compound shown by the formula R1(CH2)Cl with piperazine.
