Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to drive the pump with high efficiency to the lines having different pressures by a method wherein an impeller is housed in the inside of a stationary blade at the drive shaft side at low pressure running and the impeller is located at the front stage of the stationary blade at high pressure running.
CONSTITUTION: At low pressure running, when a closing valve 36 is open to communicate a bell month part 17A to an inner tube 20B, because the pressure in the inner tube 20B is lower than the pressure before the secondary stationary blade 23, the secondary impeller 25 is applied by an upward thrust and is moved upward to be housed into the inside of the stationary blade, without an air cylinder continuing to be supplied with the air.
