Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the nozzle suitable for blowing the refracotry from a point- blank distance spread to a wide area by a method wherein a material nozzle is inserted through an outer shell having a tapered opening part provided to a leading end thereof and plural high pressure gas nozzles are provided to a peripheral direction between the outer shell and the material nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: Through an outer shell 2 having a tapered opening part 1 provided to a leading end thereof, a material nozzle 3 is inserted along a center axis thereof. An orifice diameter of said nozzle 3 is made larger than that of the opening part 1 and the nozzle leading end is provided at a position appropriately rearward from the opening part 1. Further, between the outer shell 2 and the nozzle 3, plural high pressure gas nozzles 4 having small pores directed along the taper of the outer shell 2 are provided in a peripheral direction. When this blow nozzle is mounted to a known blow apparatus and a sludge like refractory is injected from the nozzle 4, the refractory is injected in a wide angle. Therefore, once adhered refractory is not scattered by collision with the succeedingly blown refractory.
