PURPOSE:To obtain plural sheets of copy with high qualtity from the same latent image, by forming an image with use of a high electric charging toner and with the development of an electrostatic latent image, sticking a low electric charging toner on the high electric charging toner image and then transcribing the low electric charging toner image. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is charged evenly with electricity by a corona charger 3, and then an electostatic latent image is formed by an exposure device 2. This latent image is developed by the 1st developer 4 and with a toner having a comparatively high degree of toner charging. Thus, a high charging toner image is formed. This developement is caried out in such a way that the electric charge of the electrostatic latent image is not completely neutralized. After the development, the developer 4 is set contactless to the photoreceptor 1. After this, a comparatively low charging toner image is formed on the above-mentioned toner image by the 2nd developer 5. Then only the low charging toner image is transcribed onto the copy paper 8 at the position of a transfer roller 6. The developer 5 is used again to repeat the transcription. Thus plural sheets of copy are obtained.
