Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve conversion with comparatively less hardware amount, by inputting a 4-way profile information to a serial/parallel conversion shift register and outputting a 8-way profile information through the input of this output to a profile information conversion circuit. CONSTITUTION:A 4-way profile code S1 is fetched to a serial/parallel conversion shift register 1 in synchronizing with a clock pulse CLK outputted from a clock control circuit 3. The shift register 1 is a register which can store 5-code, and this parallel output S2 is applied to a profile information conversion circuit 2. The circuit 2 outputs the number of codes (n) from the head of the shift register 1 to the digit just before first (-) or (0) appears other than the head to a clock control circuit 3. (n+1) codes including the head of the register 1 are arithmetically summed and the sum is outputted externally as a 8-way profile code S3.
