Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify the device by constituting heat collecting elements of a solar heat collector formed of heat pipes in such a way that the elements are fitted to and removed from a case by screwing.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting element 6 is formed by fixing a heat pipe 8 having a heat receiving part 8a and a heat-radiating part 8b in a transparent vacuum tube 7 made of glass and the like. On the outer periphery of the heat-radiating part 8b screw threads 9 are made and a seal tape 10 is wound thereon beforehand. And the element 6 is screwed to the screwed tube 5 of a case 1, thus the heat collecting element 6 being incorporated in the case 1. When the heat pipe 8 is exposed to the sunlight, the working liquid in the pipe is evaporated by heating, liquefied in the heat-radiating part 8b, and heated again by the sunlight, this cycle being repeated. The fitting and removal of the element 6 are performed with ease by screwing.
