Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve solar heat collecting efficiency by a method wherein semi- cylindrical lenses for receiving solar energy are formed over a heat collecting unit.
CONSTITUTION: A hot water unit is constructed by the combination of a heat collector unit A capable of storing water therein and a number of lenses 9 for receiving solar energy at a place over the heat collecting unit A and formed to show a semi-cylindrical shape in such a manner as their focusing points are linearly focused at a surface of the heat collector unit A. Thus, the assembly displays a superior heat collecting effect for transforming an optical energy into a heat energy and provides a high energy saving effect.
