Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the manufacture of a chemically converted film having superior absorbing efficiency of solar energy by a method wherein an aluminum etc. is immersed in the water containing metallic ions selected from a group of copper, iron, cobalt and silver and fluoride ions.
CONSTITUTION: In this manufacturing process, a chemically converted film is produced by immersing aluminum or its alloy in the water containing metallic ions selected from a group of copper, iron, cobalt and silver, and fluoride ions. Each of the concentrations of the metallic ion and fluoride ion are 50W500ppm, respectively. The chemically converted film is prepd. in such a way that aluminum or its alloy is degreased, cleaned, polished chemically or electrolytically to form a mirror finished surface, then the aluminum is immersed in said water. As the post processing, simple cleaning with water and drying are applied to the surface.
