Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate a manufacturing of a chemically converted film having efficiency of solar energy absorption and a less loss of a stored thermal energy by a method wherein aluminum etc. is immersed in the water containing phosphate ions and triethanolamine.
CONSTITUTION: In this process, a chemically converted film is made by immersing aluminum or its alloy in the water containing phosphate ions and triethanolamine. At this time, a concentration of phosphate ion is 20W300ppm and a concentration of triethanolamine is 0.2W2wt%. In order to make such a chemically converted film as described above, at first, either an aluminum or its alloy is pretreated to remove its grease and to clean itself, then polished chemically or electrolytically to obtain a mirror surface. Then, the aluminum is immersed in said water to make a chemically converted film on the surface of the aluminum useful as selective absorption film for the solar energy.
