Abstract
PURPOSE:To cut down working time by enabling light passing narrow grooves to be accurately made on the inner side of a pair of blocks by a ditcher. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces 12 and 13 of the two glass blocks of the same quality are temporarily adhered to each other using adhesive. Cylindrical holes 15, 15, 15 are made starting at the center of the mirror surfaces 14, 14, 14 formed at the top surfaces of the blocks 10 and 11. Next, the blocks 10 and 11 are separated and the light-passing narrow grooves 16, 16, 16 are made in the inner side thereof using a ditcher. Next, adhesive is filled in the semicylindrical holes 15a, 15a, 15a, 15b, 15b, 15b and narrow grooves 16, 16, 16 formed in the blocks 10 and 11, and the inner sides 12 and 13 of the blocks 10 and 11 are subjected to precise optical polishing.
