Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the consumption of electric power in a control circuit of an electronic shutter camera, by turning to OFF the plural set signal generating circuits and signal processing circuits in a standby time by using an output signal from a control signal generating circuit consisting of a power source, a crystal oscillator circuit and a start signal generating circuit.
CONSTITUTION: Electric power is supplied from a power source 11 to a control signal generating circuit 12 including a crystal oscillator circuit 19 and a start signal generating circuit 18, thus said circuit is perating at all times. When a switch 20 or 21 is turned ON by pressing, for example, the shutter button of the camera, the output of an NAND gate 29 goes to 1, and the negative voltage of the power source 11 enters a signal processing circuit 13 via a transistor 17, thereby turning ON said circuit 13. On the other hand, the output of the circuit 29 enters a set signal circuit 38 via an inverter 30, and applies the set signal to a terminal 41 via an FET39. In addition, the reference clock signal of the crystal oscillator circuit 19 inputs to a terminal 36 via an NAND circuit 32, and the signal processing circuit 13 performs signal processing. When the switches 20, 21 are turned to OFF, the signal processing circuit 13 is turned to OFF and the circuit 38 consumes electric power no longer.
