Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an air-core reactor which has a large capacity and enable an easy fabrication without using an iron plate by connecting a plurality of unit coils each wound with a conductor on a bobbin to form an endless solenoid. CONSTITUTION:Flanges 13a, 13b are securely fixed to the tapered surface of a cylinder 12 formed with a tapered surface on each of both end surfaces. The cylinder 12 is used as a bobbin 11. Conductors are wound on the bobbin 11 to form unit coils 14a-14d. A plurality of bobbins 11a-11e, 11a'-11e' with a plurality of unit coils are connected to obtain a polygonal ring-shaped endless solenoid. The coils 15a-15e, 15a'-15e' of the respective bobbins are connected in series or in parallel with each other. Thus, since no wiring plate is used, it can prevent noise, obtain a large capacity reactor with an air core, and advantageous fabrication and transportation thereof.
