Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the simple manufacture of a core having a low load and a high space factor, by a method wherein amorphous sheets and an insulating tape are wound monolithically. CONSTITUTION:Ends of a plurality of amorphous sheets 2 guided with guide rollers 5 are secured to a coil former 6, and an end of an insulating tape guided with the roller 5 is fastened in a similar manner. With the coil former 6 then turned, the sheets 2 and the tape 4 are monolithically wound around the coil former 6 so that they overlap with each other, to obtain an amorphous wound- core 7 of a given thickness. Like this, the tape 4 and a plurality of the sheets 2 are alternately laminated, and this prevents the generation of an eddy-current in the core 7. Thus, the core 7, coupled with the reduction in a hysteresis loss being a property of the amorphous itself, can have a very low loss.
