Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily mount a coil on a ring-shaped magnetic core by employing a flexible insulating substrate formed with a plurality of conductors as a coil blank. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of conductors 2b are formed on a flexible insulating substrate 2a, and cutouts 2c are formed at the portions except connectors 2d thereof. The substrate 2a is bent to form a cylindrical shape, inserted into a magnetic core 1, and each strip of 2 is bent to wind around the core 1, and adjacent conductors 2b are joined the ends to each other with solder to form a coil. Thus, the winding of the conductor on the core 1 becomes remarkably easy to facilitate an automation of manufcturing the coil.
