Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily automatically and manually adjust the attenuation force characteristics at compression by making an oil hole penetrate into the piston rod of a hydraulic buffer, suspending the upper end on a unit body with the use of an elastic body, and forming a variable volume oil room whose upper surface of the elastic body is a wall. CONSTITUTION:When compression force is applied to a buffer, the valve 28 of a piston 2 opens and the lower oil easily moves upward, but the oil for the volume of the piston rod 3 flows into a cylindrical body 6 and then into an oil room 14 from the orifices 24 and 17 of a separate wall 15. Attenuation force is properly generated by this orifice circulation. By inserting the piston rod 3 into a cylinder 1, an elastic body 11 is deformed and an oil room 14 is expanded. Since the engagement gap between a pin 23 and the orifice 24 is reduced, an oil flow passage is slowly reduced. Therefore, attenuation force is increased. This simple structure can easily adjust automatically and manually the attenuation force at compression and improve safety.
