Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily enable designing of the fan of which noise components generated from rotatory movement is minimized by a method wherein the fitted angle made by a pair of blade is to be decided within the specified angle.
CONSTITUTION: The method of deciding the unequal interval to the blades is that two adjoining blades, i.e., 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, are regarded as a pair, and unequal angle α is to be given to each pair as illustrated. In case the number of blades is odd number, one of them is thought to be the fixed, and the remainder will be paired in the same way. In this method, there is no movement of the balance point (the dotted line), the balance of blades will not be broken, and the angles for all blades can be decided definitely if an angle α is decided as illustrated. Next, by deciding the angle α as shown in the diagram, wherein the unequal angle interval Q obtained by the specified formula must be within 10≤Q≤13.5, the fan the noise components from rotatory movement thereof is minimized can be designed.
