Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce a fuel consumption by a method wherein a sensible heat of a drained hot water exhausted from a bathtub is collected through a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A bathtub 1 is installed in a bath room and the water from water works is induced through a duct 2 to a regenerator 6 by means of a heat exchanger 4. The drained hot water from the bathtub 1 is induced through a duct 7 to the heat exchanger 4 and the drained hot water works as a heat medium to raise the water temperature in the heat exchanger 4. The hot water drained from the heat exchanger 4 is induced through a duct 8 to a sewerage pipe 9. The regenerator 6 and a solar heat collector 10 constitute a closed loop by means of ducts 11, 12.
