Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate the generation of waveforms of four parameters and also the control of the waveforms by connecting a nonlinear resistance element with a linear element in series and making gentle the slope of the voltage impressed on an apparatus to be tested based on the time constants of both elements.
CONSTITUTION: By the time constants of the nonlinear resistance element 17 and the linear element 18, the voltage having such a gentle slope as a waveform 19 is generated. The waveform 19 is the same with a waveform 16 between O and A and the sharp reduction of resistance of the element 17 is caused at the point A, while the gentle slope of voltage is generated by the time constants of the elements 17 and 18 between A and B. At the point B, a capacitor is charged and the element 17 returns to the state of high resistance. The waveform becomes controllable by a resistance 11 and a capacitor 12 by t1 and by the elements 17 and 18 between t1 and t2.
