Abstract

PURPOSE:To get a rotor with a small outer diameter by a method wherein the upper and lower surface of a permanent magnet, whose upper and lower surface are differently magnetized, are provided with magnetic material plates and from the peripheral ends of said magnetic material plates the sectionally circular arc-shaped pole pieces are alternately arranged around the permanent magnet. CONSTITUTION:A rotor shaft 2 is provided through the center of a permanent magnet 1, whose upper and lower faces are differently magnetized, and the sectionally circular arcshaped pole pieces 4a, 4b, which are projectingly prepared parallel to the rotor shaft 2 from the peripheral ends of the magnetic material plates 3a, 3b respectively provided on the upper and lowe faces of the permanent magnet 1, are alternately arranged around the permanent maget 1 to constitute the rotor. And the sectionally circular arc-shaped pole pieces 12a, 12b, which are projectingly prepared in parallel with the rotor shaft 2 from the pheripheral ends of the magnetic material plates 11a, 11b respectively prepared on both end surfaces of the cylindrical exciting coil 10 coaxially prepared to the rotor, are alternately arranged aound the rotor. This enables to minimize the outer diameter of the rotor, to simplify the constitution of the stator and augment the magnetomotive force of the rotary electromagnet.
