CONSTITUTION:The standard time is displayed on the upper stage of the multistage liquid crystal display unit of a multifunction watch; while the calendar (year, month & date), the timer time, the world time, the result of calculation and others are displayed on the lower stage optionally selected. The corresponding setting key is operated to give a correction to the standard time, and thus the display on the lower stage disappears. Then the corrected standard time is displayed on the lower stage by the subsequent operation of the register key. With operation of the TM key, the standard time on the upper stage is changed to the corrected time, and at the same time the display before correction is given again on the lower stage. In such way, the standard time is corrected in an easy and accurate way for a multifunction timepiece.
