Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform titled controlling with good accuracy by using the mean strip temp. value obtained by subtracting the fluctuation amounts owing to the changes in line speed, control unit and inlet strip temperatures from outlet strip temp. detected values. CONSTITUTION:The outlet strip temperatures of the heating zone 1, soaking zone 2, and cooling zones 3, 4 of continuous annealing equipment are detected with strip temp. detectors 8-11. The fluctuation amounts of the strip temp. owing to the changes in line speed, controlled variables of furnace and inlet strip temp. are calculated and the calculated fluctuation amount value is subtracted from the thus detected values. From the strip temperatures obtained in this way, the mean value thereof is calculated and the set value of the furnace is changed based in the deviation between this mean value and the target strip temp., whereby the strip temp. is controlled.
