Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a smooth action of clutch engagement in a speed change gear and reduce a shock of speed change, by controlling a clutch current with the logic operation of a car speed signal, speed change signal and a timing signal of a saw tooth wave.
CONSTITUTION: A car speed signal S1 and speed change signal S2 are input to an AND gate 1 and applied to a comparator 4 through a transistor 2 and RC circuit 3 to obtain a signal A that becomes proportionally intense at the engagement of a clutch. Said signal A is input to a comparator 7 with a timing signal 3 of a saw tooth wave corresponding to the rotary speed of an engine. While a pulse signal D from a pulse generator circuit 8 and a signal C are fed to a gate 9, and output signals E, F, G of those in the above and the speed change signal S2 are processed to obtain a pulse signal I that successively changes pulse width only at the time of clutch engagement. In this way, a clutch current is allowed to flow in a coil 16 to perform a smooth action of clutch engagement.
